Bet Torah

Carnival for Special Needs Guests from WJCS

SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 1:30*-3:00 P.M.

Adults with developmental disabilities from WJCS’ Partners in Caring Havorah enjoy our free Purim celebration every year, part of Bet Torah’s commitment to building a better world.

The carnival for our friends from WJCS is in the afternoon after our Carnival for Children and Families.

Teen Volunteers

We need teens in 8th-12th grade to sing and dance with our guests, act out the Purim play with Rabbi Brusso and Cantor Herman, and guide our guests in enjoying select carnival games. The Purim Band will also be playing. (Teens currently in 7th grade can only attend our Carnival for WJCS Friends as members of the Purim Band.)

*Teen volunteers must participate in a MANDATORY orientation with Rabbi Brusso at 1:00 to participate, even if this is not their first year volunteering.

We need help from adults too!

Thank you to all the families who support our Carnival for WJCS Friends by sponsoring carnival booths, and to all adult volunteers.
