TLC is all the ways Bet Torah engages our 8th-12th graders.

We invite teens in 8th-12th grade to explore their rich Jewish heritage and challenging modern lives through a variety of learning and community building programs. Join us for exciting and innovative teen programming!

Nosh and Drash

Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m., weekly. $500/full year.

Safe space discussion with Robin Wald.

Drash with the Rabbi: Next Steps

Thursdays, 6:15-7:15 p.m., monthly, in Rabbi Brusso’s home. $200/full year.

College preparation and discussion with the rabbi. Open only to 11th and 12th graders.

Westchester Jewish Basketball League (WJBL) 

Season starts after Thanksgiving, playoffs after Presidents’ Week.

Recreational, co-ed league open to 5th-12th graders of all genders. Teams need to be coached by two adults per team. If you would like to start a team for your child’s age group, please email Loen.

Better Together

Five Sundays, 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., monthly. $60/full year of five gatherings.

Intergenerational friendship, encouraging meaningful relationships between teens and older adults in our congregation, led by Robin Wald and Loen Amer.

Note:  Better Together gatherings will no longer feature lunch, only a light snack of coffee, tea, muffins, and fruit.

Youth group for all Jewish teens where young people meet Jewish teens from other congregations, and experience the joys of Judaism beyond the classroom and home.

Rosh Hodesh and Shevet powered by Moving Traditions

Sunday evenings, monthly, in homes. Gathering schedules are different for different groups. $200/full year ($275 for non-congregants).

Small group experiences for young women, young men, and in NYC for non-binary teens , that encourage self-discovery, promote self-confidence and strengthen connections with other teens and the broader Jewish community, all with the guidance of a trained mentor.
