Drash with the Rabbi
Thursdays, 6:15 ā 7:00 p.m., monthly, starting Thursday, October 14. $200/full year.
College preparation and discussion with the rabbi. Open only to 11th and 12th graders.
Nosh and Drash
Tuesdays, 6:13-7:30 p.m. weekly.
Safe space discussion with Robin Wald.
DO
Leadership Training Cohort
Mondays, 6:00 ā 7:30 p.m., monthly.
Teen leadership development program including training workshops and practical, hands-on leadership of some TLC programs.
Madrichim (Teacher Assistants)
Schedule varies by placement and program track.
Application required!
Madrichim in 9th-12th grade and Madrichim-in-Training (8th or 9th graders) serve as role models, working with teachers to create a positive environment throughout Kulanu Learning Program while receiving training and developing skills as educators and mentors.
Teens in 12th grade who have participated in at least three years of Madrichim are eligible to apply for ELI 2.0: Educational Leadership Institute for the Next Generation in Memory of Dr. Sheila Adler zāl.
Belong
Better Together
Intergenerational friendship, encouraging meaningful relationships between teens and older adults in our congregation.
Rosh Hodesh and Shevet powered by Moving Traditions
Sunday evenings, monthly, for most groups. Dates and times vary by group.
Small group experiences for young women, young men, and in NYC for non-binary teens, that encourage self-discovery, promote self-confidence and strengthen connections with other teens and the broader Jewish community, all with the guidance of a trained mentor.
USY
Youth group for all Jewish teens where young people meet Jewish teens from other congregations, and experience the joys of Judaism beyond the classroom and home.
