About the Challah Back Girls

The Challah Back Girls mission is to partner with, fundraise for, and uplift organizations leading social and racial equity work by connecting people to the Jewish ritual of challah—a traditionally braided bread. Through sharing this Jewish tradition, Challah Back Girls™ provides a meaningful and educational opportunity for healing, Tikkun Olam (repair the world), and transforming injustice.  Through the power of food, compassion, and ritual they use challah as a thread that weaves together people from diverse backgrounds, to share histories and amplify each other’s work to advance social change.
