The values of Bet Torah drive us into action, serving our community both internally, locally in Westchester, plus where there is need far beyond our geographic location.

Bet Torah serves our community in many ways - we are proud of our work and encourage you to reach out and join us. There are opportunities for every level of commitment!

  • Social Action at Bet Torah is diverse and layered. There are three separate initiatives or committees which function separately but work cooperatively. They are the Social JusticeCommunity Service, and Interfaith Working Group.

  • The Caring Committee works in partnership with our clergy to support our congregation in times of need. Our volunteers perform deeds of loving kindness and offer meaningful outreach to guide our community in living a life of spiritual and physical well-being. Read More

  • Our Volunteer Coordinator Emma Hest is your first stop for figuring out how best to match your time and skills to the needs we have both internally and externally. Email Emma today!

  • We frequently hold or host Supply Drives. Usually through the coordination of multiple committees and/or events, we encourage our congregants and friends to take the extra step of bringing specific goods or items to meet specific needs. Read More

  • Through our Sisterhood's relationship with the Opportunity Shop, you can donate items for reuse and at the same time benefit Bet Torah's Sisterhood, year-round. Read More
