Building Project News
Building Project Updates
@1/7/26: “Breaking ground” work will begin in mid January. For the first several months: The sanctuary entrance will be closed, Rabbi Brusso and Cantor Ezring will be relocated within the building, construction areas will be fully closed off to congregants, parking availability onsite will be slightly reduced (please be mindful of our neighbors and always park legally).
@12/18/25: We’re excited to share that we have now received approved Building Permits from the Town of Mount Kisco. This means we are officially moving from pre-construction into the construction phase of our building project!
Meet the Andron Construction Team
We are pleased to welcome the Andron Construction team to the Bet Torah campus. Colt Stemkowski, Andron Project Manager, will be on site almost every day through the end of the project. Paul Boniello will serve as Andron’s Senior Project Manager.
Please give them a warm Bet Torah welcome if you see them around campus!
Construction Office Trailer
The construction office trailer will be placed in the small parking lot where the clergy parking has been, beginning the week of December 22. All construction workers and visitors will check in at this trailer and receive daily identification badges.
What to Expect Starting in January
“Breaking ground” work will begin in early January. For the first several months:
-
The sanctuary entrance will be inaccessible while we build a new room and secure entrance, in that area. All other entrances will remain open as usual until the summer.
-
Rabbi Brusso and Cantor Ezring will be temporarily relocated as construction begins on the new Clergy Suite.
-
All construction areas will be fully closed off to congregants, both inside and outside the building.
-
Parking availability onsite will be slightly reduced; please plan a few extra minutes into your commute to BT in case you need to use street parking a little further away than you are used to. Please be mindful of our neighbors and always park legally on the streets around us!
Ongoing Updates & Community Celebration
We will include construction updates in The Weekly email, on our Digital Notice Board inside our building, and on our website. Please pay close attention to information about parking, entrance changes, and—most excitingly—details about our community groundbreaking celebration, which will take place after winter break. We hope you’ll join us!
Security & Campus Access Reminders
When the Moore Avenue security gate is closed:
-
You may ring the bell and someone will let you in after you identify yourself.
-
If you have a building access code, you may use the keypad to enter.
Please also note our new one-way traffic flow: Enter on Moore Avenue; Exit on Smith Avenue.
