Cooks Wanted!

In preparation for fulfilling the mitzvah of Comforting the Sick/Bikur Cholim and Caring Connections/Lev Echad we are looking for volunteers to come together to make soup at Bet Torah.

The soup will be stored in individual containers, frozen in Bet Torah's freezer, and then delivered by volunteers to Bet Torah members who are dealing with an illness, recovering from injury or surgery or who just need some TLC.

We will be cooking from 9:00 am until clean-up at 5:00 pm. Children are welcome to help!

Under the umbrella of Bet Torah Social Action, the Caring Committee serves as a reach-out to and by Bet Torah members who are ill, isolated, or bereaved.
