Our Grandchildren's World: Supporting them as they navigate through the modern challenges of childhood and adolescence

It's a changing world in so many ways.  Our grandchildren grapple with things we never considered when we were their age.
No matter a particular child's orientation, every child today is aware of differences in gender identity among their peers.   
How can we understand these identities and the many terms used to describe them?
How can we continue to be our grandchildren's cheerleaders and loving supporters as they journey through their formative years?
In our safe, caring circle, Bet Torah members will share their own experiences, and we will learn together what we need to know and how we need to proceed in order to be the loving, supportive grandparents we want to be.
