About Midnight Run

Midnight Run is Bet Torah's way of helping the homeless in Manhattan. We travel by bus at night into the city to deliver much needed food and clothing to those who are less fortunate. The homeless look forward to our support every year. The group of teens going to NYC will be chaperoned by parent volunteers and Bet Torah staff. There are also volunteer opportunities at Bet Torah for those who cannot make the trip into NYC.

5:30 pm: Sorting and prep will begin at Bet Torah: Open to Grades 6-12

7:00 pm: Those eligible and confirmed to attend will leave for NYC: Open to Grades 10-12 with adult Chaperones

Note regarding food preparation: In order to provide as much food as our budget will allow while respecting our recipients' preferred choices, we will be using non-kosher meat for the sandwiches that we will be giving out to the homeless recipients in NYC.  Any non-kosher food will not enter the Bet Torah kitchens.
