Rabbi Mikie Goldstein, CEO of the Israeli Rabbinical Assembly, will be joining us for Shabbat. 

About Rabbi Mikie Goldstein

UK-born Rabbi Mikie Goldstein made aliyah in 1989 and worked chiefly in fundraising in the non-profit sector, before turning to the rabbinate. In 2014 he was ordained at the Rabbinical School of the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York, returning immediately to Israel to become the rabbi of Adat Shalom-Emanuel, the Masorti synagogue in Rehovot. From 2017 until 2022, he served as president of the Israel region of the Rabbinical Assembly and on the RA’s international Executive Council. In 2022 he was appointed to the joint position of Director of Religious Services at the Masorti Movement and Senior Director of the Rabbinical Assembly of Israel. Previously, Rav Mikie volunteered and held board positions at the Israeli AIDS Task Force and the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance. Rav Mikie works to help Israelis own their Judaism through positive interactions with our tradition.
