What do teens say about Drash with rabbi Brusso?

I remember vividly my first time going to Rabbi Brusso’s house and really feeling such a sense of community as we gathered together in his sukkah. I truly felt welcome by Rabbi Bruso, Loen, and all of the Bet Torah teens. Drash is a way for teens in 11th and 12th grade to come together every few weeks in the casual environment of Rabbi Brussos’s home and discuss current events through the lens of the torah. This has been so meaningful for me because with the Isreali Palestine conflict and all the craziness in the world, I knew that I could come into a safe place ready to discuss what was on my mind and ask any unanswered questions. I would be lying if I didn’t mention the delicious pizza that I look forward to as well. I have made lots of meaningful connections and friends throughout my experience, and I hope to find many other communities like the one Drash with the Rabbi has built in college and beyond.
